Beer from the
railway arches.
Cold. Fresh. Ours. Twelve taps brewed twenty feet from where you're standing. Pizza, dogs allowed, no nonsense.
12 Taps
Today.
Four core beers always on. Eight rotators that change with the weather, the season, and what the brewer felt like making this week.
Iron Horse
“Grapefruit, pine, dry finish. Our flagship.”
Arch 12
“Citra-led, easy drinking, all-day pint.”
Smokestack
“Beechwood-smoked malt. Bonfire in a glass.”
Ancoats Lager
“Six-week lager. Clean, crisp, proper.”
Cog & Sprocket
“Brown sugar, marmalade, lingering bitter.”
Tram Stop
“Mosaic and Galaxy. Juicy, soft, foggy.”
Foundry Stout
“Espresso, dark chocolate, silky.”
Hop Pocket
“Double dry-hopped. Pineapple bomb.”
Brick Yard
“Maris Otter, Fuggles, properly sessionable.”
Cold Steel
“Czech-style, Saaz hops, two-month lagered.”
Black Anvil
“Limited release. Bourbon barrel-aged.”
Sour 6
“Raspberry & lime. Sharp, refreshing, weird.”

The arch
does the work.
We took on a knackered Victorian railway arch in Ancoats in 2018, dragged a 20-hectolitre brewhouse in through the doors, and got on with it. Seven years on we're still here — same arch, same brewer, slightly better beer.

Brick walls. Long tables.
A dog under every other one.
Sourdough, fired in our deck oven. £9–13. Vegan & GF options.
Bring ’em. We’ve got bowls, biscuits, and zero objections.
Saturdays 2pm. £15 a head. Includes four halves and a bad joke.
Hire the snug for 20–40. Beer included. We’ll sort the rest.
Take a few
cans home.
