Three generations.
One workshop.
Forge & Hammer started life in 1958 when Albert Burt converted his Dad's blacksmith shop on Smithdown Road into a proper garage. Sixty-eight years later we're still there — same building, same family, same way of doing things. Spanners, not laptops.
These days my Dad still runs the workshop end and I (Tom) do the mobile work and the classic restorations. We've got a 1967 Jaguar E-Type in pieces in the back as I write this. That's the kind of place we are.
