Real food.
Real results.
No fad diets.
Plate Method is a Brighton nutrition clinic run by a registered nutritionist. We help people eat better — whether you're training for a marathon, expecting a baby, or just want to stop feeling rubbish by 3pm.

Plans built around your life, not someone else's.
Five core services, all delivered 1:1. Every plan starts with a proper conversation — we won't sell you something you don't need.
1:1 Consultations
A proper 60-minute first session — bloods, lifestyle, the lot — followed by a plan you can actually live with. Reviews monthly.
Learn more →Sports Performance
Fuelling strategy for runners, cyclists, lifters and anyone training seriously. Periodised around your season, not a magazine.
Learn more →Weight Management
Sustainable, evidence-based. No meal-replacement shakes, no 1,200kcal nonsense. We work on the why, not just the what.
Learn more →Pre & Post-Natal
Nutrition through pregnancy and the fourth trimester. Iron, folate, recovery — the things midwives don't always have time for.
Learn more →Plant-Based Plans
Whether you're fully vegan, half-curious or somewhere in between — protein, B12, iron, omega-3, sorted properly.

Honest nutrition,
no gimmicks.
We start with food, not rules
No banned lists. No 'good' and 'bad'. Just better choices, more often, in a way that fits your week.
Evidence over fashion
If it isn't in the journals, it isn't in your plan. We follow the BDA and the latest peer-reviewed research — not whoever's on Instagram.
Real life included
Pubs, kids, takeaways, long shifts — we plan around all of it. A diet that only works on a quiet Tuesday isn't a diet.
Meet Hannah Wright, ANutr.
I qualified with an MSc in Nutrition from King's College London in 2017 and opened Plate Method the following year. Before that, I spent three seasons working with an elite cycling team — that's where I learned that the best nutrition advice is almost always the simplest.
I'm registered with the Association for Nutrition (ANutr), a member of the BDA, and have additional accreditation in sports nutrition from the ISSN. Most importantly, I'm a regular person who likes a roast dinner and a glass of wine on a Friday.

I'd tried everything — the shakes, the apps, the 5:2. Hannah was the first person to actually look at what I ate in a week and explain why I was knackered. Six months in, I've lost two stone and I'm not white-knuckling it.
