IV · A Quiet House In The Country
A converted farmhouse.
Six acres of garden.
The spa is set in a slate-roofed Cheshire farmhouse, restored sympathetically over two years before we opened our doors in 2017. Original beams, lime-washed walls, and warm flagstones underfoot — the kind of building that does half the work of relaxing for you.
We deliberately cap the day at thirty guests. No queueing for the sauna, no waiting for a lounger. The garden terrace seats lunch in the warmer months, and when it rains there are wool blankets by the door.
A note on the phone-off rule
Mobile phones stay in lockers from the moment you arrive. We have a landline at reception for genuine emergencies. Everyone who has tried it has thanked us.

We sit between Wilmslow and Macclesfield, signposted from the A538. Free parking on site for forty cars, a bike rack by the entrance, and a Manchester Airport transfer service for our overnight package guests.
