Skin you'd
recognise as
your own.
Just better.
A small medical skincare clinic in the city centre, run by a Skincare Specialist nurse. Clinical-grade facials, peels and skin programmes, prescribed honestly and delivered properly — without the upsell, the contracts or the noise.

Since 2019
Clinical work.
Quiet results.
There is a lot of noise in the skincare industry — ten-step routines, trending peptides, dermal contraptions. We strip it back to what actually works: pharmaceutical-grade products, properly diagnosed concerns, and treatments delivered by someone clinically trained. Nothing more, nothing less.
A specialist nurse, not a salesperson
Your skin is reviewed by a Skincare Specialist nurse with a clinical background. Recommendations are made because they suit your skin — not because we have stock to shift.
Medical-grade, end to end
We only stock the products we trust in clinic and at home: ZO Skin Health, Obagi and Alumier MD. Pharmaceutical-strength, not high-street pretty packaging.
No hard sell. Ever.
There's no upgrade pitch at the end of your appointment. We'd rather you leave with three honest steps than ten expensive guesses.
A clinic, not a salon
Bright, calm, properly equipped. Magnification lamps, sterile fields, written aftercare. Treatment rooms used by one client at a time.
The menu,
in full.
Every price is on the website. Every treatment includes a fifteen-minute review at the start of the appointment. Course-based programmes are paid up front and never expire.

We carry medical-grade brands only. ZO Skin Health and Obagi require an in-person consultation under UK guidelines — we follow them. Home prescriptions are reviewed every six weeks.
A slow,
measured
plan.
Skin doesn't change overnight, and any clinic that promises it does is selling something. We work in cycles of six weeks — review, adjust, review — until the result is the one you came in for.
Skin Health Consultation
Sixty quiet minutes. We talk through history, lifestyle and what's bothering you, then assess under clinical light.
A written plan
You leave with a one-page plan — in-clinic and at-home. Suggested order. Honest timelines. Nothing fluffy.
Treatment, properly spaced
We never stack treatments to hit a sales target. Skin needs recovery between sessions. We schedule accordingly.
Review at six weeks
A short follow-up to look at progress, adjust products and decide whether the next step is needed at all.

Two treatment rooms.
One client at a time.
Set on a quiet corner just off Deansgate, Skinfolio is deliberately small. Bright clinical lighting, magnification lamps, sterile fields, calm music. No waiting room full of strangers and no overlapping appointments.
We see eight clients a day, maximum. You will never be processed through. Each treatment starts with the same fifteen-minute review — because skin changes week to week, and last month's plan may not be this month's.

A Skincare Specialist nurse.
Skinfolio was founded in 2019 by a Registered General Nurse with a background in dermatology and aesthetic medicine. Every consultation, every peel, every microneedling session is delivered by a clinically-trained Skincare Specialist — not a beauty therapist with a short course behind them.
That clinical background changes how we work. We diagnose before we treat. We say no when it's the right answer. And we won't recommend a programme we wouldn't put on our own skin.
I'd had facials for years that did nothing. The first Hydra-Facial here actually changed how my skin looked the next morning — and I wasn't sold a single thing on the way out.
My acne wasn't responding to anything. The nurse put me on a proper ZO programme, peels every three weeks, and I'm a year clear. First clinic in Manchester I'd recommend.
Honest, calm, knowledgeable. The opposite of every beauty counter I've stood at. They told me to stop using two of my products before they sold me anything new.
The things everyone asks.
Do I need a consultation first?
If you're new to medical skincare, yes — a Skin Health Consultation lets us assess properly and write a plan. If you already know what you want (a Hydra-Facial or LED), you can book it directly.
What's the difference between this and a salon facial?
Medical-grade products go further into the skin and do measurable work. Our peels, microneedling and prescription-strength routines are clinically formulated — not fragrance and warm flannels.
Will there be downtime?
Hydra-Facial and LED have none. A medium peel can leave the skin pink for 24-48 hours. Microneedling may flush for a day. We schedule treatments around your life, not the other way around.
Do I have to buy your products?
No. The plan we write is yours to take wherever you like. If you want to buy ZO, Obagi or Alumier from us, you can — but it's never assumed.
Start with a
conversation.
A Skin Health Consultation is sixty minutes. We'll look at your skin properly, talk through what's bothering you, and write a one-page plan. The fee is redeemable against your first treatment.
