Sydney Street.
Spin opened in 2010 in a tiny North Laine unit with about 400 records and one knackered Technics. We've had three break-ins, two floods and one minor fire — and we're still here.
Today it's 18,000 records on the floor, two listening booths, an espresso bar in the corner, and a Friday-night DJ booth that never quite stops. Same owner, same cat, same job: getting the right record into the right hands.
I've been popping in for ten years. They'll dig out the one pressing you actually want, make you a flat white, and chat for an hour. No other shop does that.
