I'm Dan. I've been moving stuff around Edinburgh for seven years now — started with a transit van and a Gumtree ad, and ended up doing this full-time because it turns out a lot of people just want a straight price and someone who turns up on time.
I'm not an agency. There's no call centre. When you text or ring, it's me on the other end. If I'm driving I'll ring you back within 30 minutes. If I can't do the job, I'll tell you straight and recommend someone who can.

Do I need to book a slot?
Nope. Text me the morning of, and if I'm free I'll do it. For weekends or specific times, a day's notice is helpful.
What size is the van?
Long-wheelbase transit. Fits roughly a one-bed flat in one trip, or a few sofas and a fridge. If we need two trips, we do two trips.
Do you do stairs?
Yes, including Edinburgh tenement stairs. No extra charge. I do this every day — bring your sofa, I'll find the angle.
How do I pay?
Cash, bank transfer, or card on my phone reader. Whichever's easiest. Paid at the end of the job, not before.
